1963 Ford Other

1963 "Total Preformance" Gold Badge 427 dual quad. Yes, it is the cross-bolted mains first of the 427's! I purchased this engine in 1990, previous owner stated he had it in storage for 10 years prior. I had it stored in AZ. I have no way of knowing for certain what car this came out of - either an "R" or "Q" code. What I do know is this: Block: C3AE 6015 3D23 (4/23/63), Heads: C3AE 6090H (4/18/63). Completely stock, I saved all major parts replaced. This was the dual quad setup (425HP), included is the original intake manifold (C3AE 9423H) as well as the original dual Holley carbs (12R 1836B). New cam/lifters/pushrods/bearings. The cam was broke-in with a 30 mins run with high zinc break-in oil then oil/filter change just today 2/25/19. Removed parts included besides those mentioned above: "gold badge air filter complete assembly, dual point distributor, water pump, fuel pump, fan, generator - I even have the original power steering pump complete with pulley! New parts include MSD ignition/Holley Ultra double pumper (750), electric pump instead of stock mechancal, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, Tuff-Stuff 100A 1-wire alternator, Edelbrock 14" Pro-Flo air filter, Powermaster performance starter. If you have a 1963 Ford, this could be your chance! Cam run in (break in) done today (2/25/19) on test stand. Tried to post on video YouTube but had difficulties - but did it sound SWEET! I will help with crating/making available to shipping company of your choice.
