1986 Ford F-150, 300 ci 4.9 L in line six, Short bedPickup.It has a 4 speed std (with granny gear). I got this from my Dad before he died and drove it daily until about a year ago. I think it has a bad rod but a mechanic friend said it might be a lifter. Then my front flexible brake line broke and I found out the rear brakes have air in them. I live in an apartment complex that has warned me not to work on it here. So I am selling it AS IS. You will not be able to do any work on it at the apartments. YOU WILL NEED TO TRAILER IT, OR USE A DOLLY, OR TOW TRUCK TO TAKE IT. IT DOSE NOT HAVE WORKING BRAKES. I believe it is a solid truck, with much less rust than most 32 year old trucks, and would be a good project truck.It has an old single barrelon it now, but I have the original electronic carburetor, Air Filter and smog pump, so you can fix it right. My Dad didn't know how to adjust or fix newer engine parts so he usually replaced them with older parts he knew how to work on. He said it came from the factory with a high speed rear end (told that by the man he bought it from). Told me he got about 18 - 19 mpg on highway (with the original carburetor) when he first bought it. Your welcome to inspect it here but you can't work on it here. It has been setting for over a year and has not been started.
