$ 42 000 invoices detailing an older ground up restoration on a very healthy car with no rust nor accidents to get started. Plus maintenance invoices since.

Car was professionally restored by West Coast Restoration, mustangs specialists up north, in Washington.
The all car has been taken apart and every part nuts and bolts has been replaced new or restored, no expense spared.
From the engine to the interior going thru the suspensions bushings, brakes, transmission, rear end... you name it.
Engine has been prepped up a bit to K code specs about 300 hp. It is quite powerful, way faster than a stock 289 V8 for sure.

This car runs and drives like a brand new car and has no leaks whatsoever and needs nothing at all.
The only slight defects this car has, are a couple of very small doors nicks and very slight scratches.
They don't really show on pics, other than that, the paint is perfect.
I'd say a 9,8 on 10. Body is really straight, without bondo.

The correct color for a 1965, Rangoon red paint is of very good quality.

All gaps fit nicely doors, hood etc

Everything works, lights, radio, ligther, wiper, heater etc..

I might have to put another battery because the one on the pic looks authentic and cool but seems on the way out.
Very important point on this car being a convertible:
The floors and trunk floors are original and never been cut or replaced.

So no problem of alignement or structure's rigidity at that level.
This car is as close as you could get to a show car that is occasionally driven and not a 100 % trailer queen.... but probably as good as coming out of the factory.Barely 2800 miles since restored.

I bought this car as a keeper but I have to leave the country for a year maybe more.
So I'm selling it. I'm thinking about taking the car with me in Europe if I don't get an intelligent buyer here.

They're priced higher there but that also involvesshipping, exporting, delays, dealing with customs, worrying about safe storage over there etc... So I'd like to keep my trip simpler and stress free if possible.

To be clear if I didn't have to leave the country even at $ 45000 I would not sell the car.
To conclude the car is $ 42 000 and not really negotiable.
At this price the car itself is basically free.
An average one that needs pretty much everything is $ 25 000, this paint job today is $12 000! So do the maths.
If you find one in this condition with all the options cheaper, buy it.
