1965 Ford Mustang

Here we have a very rare early1965 Ford Mustang K Code Fastback 2+2. The car runs strongand shifts tight as it should and has the K code factory disc brakes up front. The rear end is the Ford 9 inch posi with 4:11 gears. ThisK Code modelis the hardest to find with it's original 4 Speedand original K Code matching number 289 HiPerformance motor still with the car. I have included a photo of the vin number stamped into the block from the Ford factory. These Original Ford 289 HiPo Blocks were hand picked for hardness and strength specifically to be hand built into the K Code motors including those K codes motors built for the 1965 Shelby GT350. Only the K Code motors had the vin number stamped into the block to match the car's vin number. This car also has the very rare Tri Power 3X2 intake system that was a over the counter option in 1965. I have been told this particular Tri Power setup is very rare as it has the early Ford Auto lite Carbs. The car also has it's original Factory hipo exhaust manifolds still on the car and have recently been finish restored. The car went through a complete rebuild and restoration about15 years ago and was performed by the previousowner who I purchased the car from about 7 years ago. The car is also a factoryRaven black with black interior car. Theoriginal radio is in place however inside theglove box is a hi dollar Alpine Stereo with upgraded speakers that was installed by the previous owner. Both theoriginal 8,000 Rally Pak tach and original clock still work. The only thing on the carthat does not work is the interior lights, theydo not come on when you open the door. From 5 feet away the car's paint looks great however it is showing it's age and is not perfect. Please ask any questions and I will do my best to answer. Most K codesyou see today do not the original motor and/or have been modified way beyond how they started life. This car for the most part is an original survivorin the most desirable Black/Black color combination.I had the oil changed, carbs rebuilt, restored finish on exhaust manifolds and had the original 4 core radiator rebuilt. I have donemany car shows and charity eventsand believe me, true car guys know exactly what this car is and how rare it is to see one in this kind of original survivor condition. I have done my the best to describe the car's condition and suggest the buyer have the car inspected before bidding as I am not a mechanic, dealer or the original owner. The car is being sold in as is as shown condition with no warranty written or implied of any kind with local pickup only.Any shipping is the buyers responsibility. Thank you for looking and best of luck bidding.
