Description:

1966 Ford Mustang

'66 Mustang 289 4 barrel, edelbrock 4v carb, edelbrock aluminum intake, aluminum valve covers, new Pertronics electronic distributor, Pertronics coil and Pertronics wires, new tri-Y headers, new aluminized dual exhaust with flow master mufflers, new gas tank, aluminum radiator and Crager S/S wheels. The black crinkle vinyl interior is worn but all there. The car has manual steering and 4 wheel manual drum brakes.

The car originally had a 6 cylinder engine but it seems to be more appealing with a V8. Since the conversion to a V8 is already complete (prior to my ownership) you can modify the car or drive train with all of your performance upgrades without concern of lowering the value.

The car started life "Springtime Yellow" but has been re-painted black. The paint is not great and the yellow is visible in the trunk, under the hood and the door jambs. There is a hole in the drivers side rear quarter and a couple of places show bare metal. There is some bubling of the paint in the lower front corner of each door and the adjacent fender area on both sides. The floors look very good so all of the issues seem cosmetic. If you are good with body work or want to get creative with paint this is the car for you.

This is a good project car, or just keep it the way it is and drive it to the local drive in on Friday nights.
