1930 MODEL A FORD TOWN SEDAN- LOCAL TROPHY WINNER

1930 Ford Model A

After 20 plus of ownership, I've decided to sell my 1930 Ford Model A Town Car. This is the rarer version of the four door sedan. It has cowl lights, a center pull down arm rest and other small extras.
The car is an older restoration that was done with parts that were supplied by the major reseller of parts like Brattons or Macs. The car has been well-maintained and always garaged. The interior is in excellent condition no with rips, stains or tears. The paint is in excellent condition and shows well. This is not a show car, it's a terrific driver. The car is a pleasant driver to enjoy and have fun with either cruising or to take to shows.
The engine runs well and is capable of cruising at 50 mph. This car starts, shifts, brakes and drives with no issues. I just had it over to my mechanic who rebuilt the carburetor and preformed other maintenance work that the car needed so it's ready to go!
The color is a two-tone which Ford called Chicole and Cobra. The car has several modern options that help make it road worthy and easier to handle such as a voltage regulator that works in conjunction with the original generator and a steering damper that makes the car easier to handle. Other work and extras include:
-Leak less water pump
-Rebuilt Zenith carburetor
-New oil pump/distributor drive gear
-New exhaust manifold, gaskets and hardware and stainless steel muffler
- New rebuilt factory ignition switch
- Seat belts - front and rear
- Handcrafted trunk and luggage rack
The car is a local first place trophy winner for many years and was featured in a remake of the movie Mildred Pierce with Kate Winsle, Guy Pearce and Evan Rachel Wood. (see pictures)
Included with the sale are many extra parts that will come in handy. I have more pictures of the car which I can supply on request.
The car is an excellent example of Henry Ford's genius and I hope the next owner will have as much fun with the car as I had. The mileage listed in the ad may not be accurate since the odometer shows about 36,000 miles (and it functions) but I have no way of verifying it.
