The truck is a 360cu/390cu 2V, 4 speed transmission with 4 wheel drive. It does not have power steering, air conditioning, or power brakes. It was a radio delete truck too. This classic is as simple and trouble free as they come.
The truck is an older restoration from out west. It has had a lot of work done to it. Any history as far what has been done to it or when is unknown. Classic 4x4s from the S.W. U.S.A. are hard to find.
The truck has been restored to factory quality paint and body work. It is not a laser straight cut and buffed Barrett Jackson show truck, nor is it priced like one. There are no dents, dings, or scratches on the truck. It is a nice driver.
There are a few pictures with a pick-up magnet stuck to the truck to show it has not had rust repairs. The truck has floorboards that are as solid as new.
This truck is not low geared so it goes down the highway 70 mph just fine. The truck has just passed a Missouri Safety inspection, and it has excellent tires.
Most early Ford 4x4s were F250s and low geared "tractors", the F100s were geared to be highway trucks.
We transport vehicles in bound and out bound all the time so we are willing to work with carriers. Transport is usually around $1.00 a mile and up to a week to get picked up.
