Fresh build from solid Arizona car. Body was dipped in alkaline tank to remove any surface rust. Only panel replacement needed was front floor boards. Full body off build with Heidts Mustang II IFS and Chassis Engineering parallel leafs in back. Boxed front with new X member center section to accommodate 6 speed automatic. Frame powder coated black. Power 11" disc brakes up front with drums in rear. Manual rack and pinion. Ford 8" rear with limited slip 3.55 gears. All sheetmetal was in great shape with original paint when project began. Beautiful original grill and uncut firewall. a new 3.7 Ford Cyclone V6 backed by a electronic Ford 6 speed auto. This engine produces 315 horsepower and gets 30 mpg in a new Mustang. I get 23 - 24 at 75 miles per hour. Very smooth and quiet going down the road. Vintage Air works great. Painted with single stage Dupont Chroma Premier. Beautiful blue gray that looks like it could have been an original 37 color. Power windows. Tinted glass with polished edges.Power Jaguar seats up front with seat from same Jag added in rear. All interior and trunk area covered with Dynamat and Dynaliner. EZ wiring harness. VDO gauges. Big Amplifier with 2 subwoofers for iPod or other audio device hook up. Interior is a soft Symphony Classic vinyl with German square weave carpeting and mats.
