This auction is for a 1979 Ford F250 Pickup with a 400 8 Cylinder Engine and Manual Transmission. It has 75,000 miles on it and it has some rust in the usual places, but far less than most. The truck is fairly solid, but there are a few minor issues here and there, including the front floor boards. The engine runs well and idles smooth. It also shifts well, the manual transmission and clutch work as they should. Both of the doors and tailgate open and close nicely. The truck has a new battery and fairly nice interior, The truck was originally from Arizona and was purchased by the 2nd owner in Virginia in 2014. It was driven from Arizona to Virginia without any problems. I believe that there is a blown brake line or there is some air in the brake lines and they may need to be bled. At this time, it does not stop on a dime or very well at all. The brakes will need attention. The paint is not award wining, but looks acceptable. This will be a great truck for someone and it only needs minimal work. This truck has the original air conditioning which worked well last summer. The left front side marker lens is cracked and will be replaced with a new one that we have on order. The horn button also has some damage and that will be replaced as well if we can locate one before the auction ends. If you are sending for transport, you will need to send a truck and trailer or rollback. Due to the small entrance off of our driveway, a large car carrier will not be able to access the truck. We can also ask local carriers here in Westminster for shipping quotes if you live far away.
