Description:

1953 Ford F-100 F-100

Up for auction is a very nice 1953 Ford F-100. Truck is a one family owned truck since new. Truck is extremely solid.

Vehicle had a light restoration back in the 80's. It basically was repainted in its original factory color. The original fenders were removed during repaint and replaced with new welting. It doesn't appear to have had any rust repair prior to repaint. There is a very minor amount of bubbling on bottom edge of the body where the bottom of the front fender meets the body see pictures. The rest of the truck is extremely solid. The paint is in decent overall condition showing nice patina.

The undercarriage is clean and solid.

The interior is in very good condition. Seat has a very small tear on the driver seam. All the glass is in excellent condition.

The oak in the bed was also replaced.

All the gauges and lights operate properly with the exception of the aftermarket added directionals. At this time they are not working. It may be a fuse or a wire but I haven't had time to look at them.

I was told the motor was rebuilt at the same time as the repaint but I don't have any proof of that. Truck runs and drives extremely well. It starts easily and runs smooth with no smoke or leaks. I've driven it locally and it drives nicely.

This is a extremely nice old solid truck that can be used as a cruise night driver or it could be easily taken to the next level.
