Selling 1992 Ford Mustang LX CALIFORNIA SUMMER SPECIAL ed. w/ factory spoiler.
I am completely not a Ford guy, but I really liked the 5.0 Mustangs. I am letting this one go simply because I do not want to pay to restore the vehicle & need the money.
THIS UNIT HAS A TON OF COLLECTORS VALUE POTENTIAL..! Look at what these are going for nowdays..!
It's main issue: it needs a transmission rebuild... I would also put in a Motorcraft Idle Air Control Valve as aftermarket one sticks (after reading others say you must buy factory part). 5.0L V8 RUNS STRONG!
I have a signed Pink Lost title form and handwritten bill of sale from original owner dated 8/26/18. I am not near the vehicle, it was purchased & left in my best friend's hometown of Lemon Grove California at a automotive shop for transmission estimate. The mechanic says the transmission fluid is dark and it will not shift when he drove it. He also said that the IAC valve needs replaced. He wants $380.00 to R&R (remove & reinstall) trans (taxfree labor). Photo added listing fees as of mid 2017. There will be some fees to get title.
