1962 Ford Falcon Futura

With a powerful V8 upgrade, A/C interior, overdrive transmission, and plenty of attitude, this is a distinct and fast 1962 Ford Falcon offered for quite a nice price. We love a nice upgraded Falcon because it takes the lightweight two-door classic and maximizes the fun. And while we'll get to the motor in a moment, you can also instantly see this one looks the part of a performance machine. The silver is an upgrade that happened later in life, and so it takes advantage of modern clearcoats. And freshly dipped bumpers, bright dual exhaust tips, and modern 14-inch polished alloys bring some serious shine on top of this. Still, even without these upgrades, the Falcon looked sporty directly from Ford. Vintage elements such as the afterburner-like taillights and a hint of a hood scoop already make this Falcon a great classic. The red interior looks great as it's almost radiating against the silver exterior. It has plenty of classic elements on the door panels, dash, and bucket seats with bright console in the center. But once again, you can also tell there have been some nice investments upgrading this Falcon. There are great performance pieces like the B&M floor shifter and full auxiliary gauge package under the dash, including a large Sunpro tach. Plus, the addition of modern R134a air conditioning and a modern AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth mounted in the glovebox means you can enjoy this powerful package in total comfort. Under the hood you can instantly tell there has been an investment in speed. The bracer bar, polished valve covers, and matching air topper with callout give this a dose of flair. While the '62 Falcon didn't even get V8 power from the factory, this one is running strong with a 302 cubic-inch powerhouse. More than just the added displacement, it inhales deeply thanks to an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. And shorty headers add even more power as they contribute to the rumble of the dual exhaust. There are even the right components to take advantage of the extra power, including traction bars and front disc brakes. And the four-speed automatic transmission has a shift kit so it's ideal for both performance driving and overdrive cruising. This is the cool classic with plenty of power, comfort, and attitude. So when something like this interesting is also so affordable, you know you need to hurry to grab this deal. Call today!!!
