Description:

1967 Ford Ranchero Fairlane 500

Being re-listed with new lower reserve price! Sorry, I will not disclose the price!
This was a recent barn find estate sale from my friend's father's collection. A very rare 1967 Ford Ranchero/Fairlane 500. It is an original "C" code car (289). Now powered by a very strong 390 engine out of a 1968 Mercury Cyclone/Comet (FE block).
Transmission is a top loader 4 speed, 9 inch posi-traction rear (unknown ratio, most likely mid to upper 3's) Car was restored in the mid 90's and has been mostly sitting since then. I spent several months going through the car but it still needs some TLC and is priced accordingly.
A recent tune up was performed, along with some new gaskets installed, the Edlebrock 600 carb was replaced with a good/used model with electric choke, as well as a new fuel pump, new fuel tank & new sending unit. Exhaust is new as well with a custom crossover pipe. Tires are excellent as well. Paint is a Dupont Centari, candy apple red, single stage, and is still in great shape with only minor chips. (I just bought touch up paint) Interior is in excellent shape with only one minor tear in driver side seat (easy repair).
The mileage showing is 67,700, but obviously the engine was replaced, I'm not sure of true mileage on engine since it was rebuilt by the previous owner. The inside of the bed is excellent, with no rust holes or repairs. The body is very solid as well. This car is very fun to drive, and very fast! Clear title in hand. This car is by no means "perfect" and will need minor items gone over still and as I stated above, it is priced accordingly with that in mind.
