390 engine, factory ac.The good - mechanicalHave paperwork showing engine, transmission, differential and suspension rebuild about 6,000 miles ago. The problem with that is the work was done in the year 2000 so the car has not been driven much in the last 18 years. Car runs and drives great. New battery, converted to dual master cylinder with new brake booster, converted to electronic ignition.The bad - mechanicalTransmission has small pan leak. Have had to add less than 1qt. of fluid in last 3 years. On hot days, above 90 degrees the car tends to run a little warm. If I kept car I would convert to aluminum radiator.Body - the goodNew paint last year, new vinyl top last year. Lots of new chrome, mirrors, door handles, turn signal indicators, Thunderbird emblems, trunk key moulding, hood chrome, sail pannels and eyebrows. Most original chrome in good condition. New door and trunk gaskets. New tires and American Racing mags.Body - the badPaint has very good gloss but has some orange peel and some runs. Everyone says I'm too picky, it's probably a good 10' to 15' paint job. Had small amount of pin hole rust around rear wheel well. Chrome around window vents could stand to be replaced. If I kept car I would replace front and rear bumpers and clean grill and tail light pannels.Interior - the goodBoth front floor boards replaced, all gauges work. New radio, new bushings in steering column, shifter mechanism rebuilt, new carpet.Interior - the badDrivers seat has some splits along thread lines. Electric drivers seat does not work. Drivers door pannel has small split. Dash has crack on passenger side. Very solid car ready to drive and enjoy now or take to the next level.
