Description:

1968 Ford Falcon

This is a NO Reserve auction for a Great old daily driving classic, a 1968 Ford Falcon Futura, take yourself back to the 60's!

-Was Driven daily from NYC to Eastern Long Island for work regularly until 10/21/2018 when I got a new car, and I will not have the space for her anymore and want to see her go to a good home!

-About the car: 200 6 Six Cylinder/ Automatic Trans (C3)/Original Factory Power Steering/Manual Dual Cylinder Brakes w 4 way drums

-Exterior: Originally Light Blue, been repainted at different times and different ways throughout the years. Currently painted a sort of flat cream color.

-Interior: Black Vinyl, over all nice condition with the exception of a center tear on both sides of front bench seat. Back seat is very nice, headliner is near perfect.

-Recent New Parts Installed: Gas Tank, Brake Lines, Spark Plugs, Air Filter

-New Parts Included (but not installed): New Alternator/Crank Belt, Brand New Autolite 1100 factory match Carburetor

-Frame/Unibody & Floors: Frame is super solid with factory undercoating still on most of the Unibody/Frame Rails and Suspension Components. Floors are rock solid with an intact and clean factory carpet still in the vehicle.

-Wipers, Radio and Climate Control: Heat is nice and warm and Blower Motor Works Great on all 3 Speeds. Wipers work great (2 Speed). (A/C Delete from Factory) Right now there is a same-fit After Market Radio Installed but the original Philco AM Radio is Included.

-Wheels & Tires: Rims are 14 inch Steel Wheels (post 66 model years switched from 13”to 14”, Tires are very drivable with plenty of tread still on them. Handles great. Has the Original Spare with a newer tire on it aired up as well. Has FoMoCo Dog Dish Hubcaps on it now and comes with a few sets of different interchangeable hubcaps that all fir the car, including the original hubcaps.

-Outstanding Issues to make note of: Minor Carb hesitation when motor is a peak operating temperature, won't stall kn you but it requires careful depression of gas pedal to smoothly get into higher rpm's then it is fine, (I believe the accelerator pump is warm) BRAND NEW CARBURETOR INCLUDED. The dashboard "Brake" warning light is on even though the brakes have been working well, about a month ago I had to add fluid to the front cylinder of master cylinder and cannot see any signs a leak or decrease in braking power (for months now) so I assume that possibly just the sensor switch is stuck. The car still stops normal and pedal feels good for months now. Ring was snapped off years ago, horn still works but only the stem is underneath steering wheel cap, can be changed.

Body: Very Clean and Solid other then some very small areas on lower wuarter panel/wheel well.

-Glass: All Glass is good and intact, all windows roll down and vent windows open.

-Paperwork: New York State Transferable Registration in my name (No Titles were issued in New York State until 1973, Original Factory Build Sheet and Owners Manual.

-Mileage: 104,000 original miles

-Owners throughout it's life: 3

-Original State of Sale: Sound Beach, NY

Body Style: 4 door Sedan

-Assembled in: Canada

Over all the car is just a fantastic time capsule that you could drive as is with some patina/aged beauty or repaint it and make perfect.
