Here is a Bronco like no other. A true time capsule, featuring every mechanical enhancement available in the 1970's. This is a one owner vehicle with 55,000 original miles. It was custom ordered in Napa Valley in 1973, and spent 12 years being enjoyed by a true adventure seeker. Upon delivery in 1973, the hard top and doors were removed and stored indoors. The rear quarter panel houndstooth interior cards were removed and stored indoors. The original door inserts, half doors and soft top are included in the sale of the Bronco. Soon after delivery, the owner began transforming the bronco in to a truly capable adventure vehicle. Roll Bar, Push Bar, Winch, Stroppe Suspension, and on board air system are just a few enhancements he professionally installed. The push bar pictured in the vintage photos is included in the sale. All original catalogs and receipts are included in a well organized binder. The Bronco was driven South to the tip of Baja, and North to Alaska several times. It is a proven workhorse, and its journey has been well documented. The original owner non-oped and parked the Bronco in 1983 and it has been sitting in a garage until a couple months ago. It has been fully restored and is ready for another lifetime of adventures. There is a long list of features that make this Bronco unique.
The 302 was professionally built and has been mated to a freshly rebuilt C4. Power steering with manual brakes, we can upgrade if you like. The bronco was just professionally repainted. Since the doors were removed and stored, the color did not match properly and the decision was made to paint the entire vehicle. Seats are original, the original door cards and rear quarter cards are among the nicest we have seen. We can upgrade the front suspension if you would like, the original air bags sag slightly giving the bronco a slight rake. 2.5" easy ride springs would level it right out. There are 3 fuel tanks. We have cleaned out and restored the rear tank system, but have only cleaned the front two tanks.
This is an opportunity to own a piece of Baja history. When you get behind the wheel you can visual the adventures this Bronco has experienced, and immediately begin your own. This is a go anywhere vehicle meant to explore any terrain. We trust that the next owner will continue the journey that this Bronco began in 1973.
