1966 Ford Mustang Convertible, power top, chrome wheels

Built in San Jose, CA and meticulously cared for ever since, this 1966 Mustang is entirely rust-free and runs very well. Shortly after I bought the car in 2012, the original 2 barrel carburetor was replaced with a Holley 4 barrel and Eldebrock performance intake manifold, resulting in a significant horsepower boost. In 2016 CokerTire provided original equipment appearance BFG Dual Redline radial tires with tranferrable 5 year road hazard warranty. These improved road handling dramatically. Front drum brakes were replaced in 2017. Rear pads are good. All belts were replaced in 2016. Original engine runs smoothly with good compression. The muffler and exhaust system is sound. Overall the car is in good condition and drives very well. The car recently passed Missouri state safety inspection. Power-retractable top, power-steering, gauges, headlights, auto-off turnsignals, emergency flashers, back-up light, heater, radiator, and hand-crank windows work. Driver's door needs new latch mechanism, but still functions from inside. Starter motor works, but sometimes disengages. Spare tire functions but is not original. Original AM radio in dash does not work. A little TLC to repair minor imperfections in the exterior paint and the original interior paint would easily restore this car to "excellent" show-winning condition. As is, the car looks and drives beautifully and constantly inspires admiring comments. I will miss driving this car!
