I'm often asked where we find these clean, unique vehicles. One of my best friends cruises parking lots of retirement homes, Elks clubs, our V.F.W. Hall and the small-town back streets of rural areas near Seattle. He can spot a seatbelt slammed in a door a mile away...He'll notice when a nice old car or truck is driving with a turn signal left on just a little too long and he positively twitches with glee when a vehicle with metal bumpers passes by!Occasionally, we'll get really lucky and find one sitting there right under our noses. That's the case with this nice truck as it belonged to a neighbor right near my home.If you're in the market for a clean vintage pickup, please give this accident-free, top-of-the-line F250 4x4 your kind attention.Feel free to contact me with questions or to discuss a sale before the end of the Ebay auction listing. My name is Mark and you can reach me directly by phone or text at 206/914-1173.

CONDITION:

The photos really tell the truck's story. It has spent most of its life here in the Great Pacific Northwest driving our salt-free western Washington roads. From the photos, you'll see the rig has obviously been well cared for over the years. We've found absolutely NO evidence of any accidents, storm damage, insurance salvage, theft recovery, repossession or any other nasty negatives to cause you concern as the next caretaker!

I take pride in these vehicles and feel that you should know as much about them as possible. Accordingly, here's a list of the good and any small things needing attention:The overall exterior is in very good condition. The rig wears the factory two-tone paint colors and has had one good quality re-spray.There are no rock chips or dents.Rust? Please, this classic Ford HATES rust and you will be hard pressed to find ANYTHING here to worry about! Because we rarely get snow west of the Cascades in both Washington and Oregon, our winter roads are never salted.Climb over, under and throughout - I know you'll come up smiling! Back in 1989 this was the about the nicest, most deck-out Ford you could buy, and its classic style and durability have proven themselves over the passing years.

One turn of the key and the strong 7.5 Liter V-8 fires right up.There's a nice throaty rumble to the exhaust. I can't tell you the number of times I've gotten a "thumbs up" pulling in at the gas station from a vintage truck admirer! Of course, all the expected options are here including tilt steering column, power steering, brakes, windows and door locks (all work). The power front disk brakes stop the rig with no pulling or binding. The four-wheel drive system appears to operate just as it should. Both a spray-in AND removable bedliner have been added to the box some years ago.The bed itself appears from beneath to be in good condition with no rust holes. While not pictured, an additional matching aluminum alloy wheel and tire spare will be included.

Please take another look at the interior pics. The front bench upholstery is original and still serviceable, though a bit worn on the driver's side. Those are the factory carpets and it's pretty obvious they've always been protected with floor mats (still there, just not pictured).A nice aftermarket storage headliner is in place. All the glass is chip and crack-free, including the windshield. A great digital Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo replaced the factory radio some time ago.About the only negatives we've encountered are: some attention needed to make the A/C blow cold (we're not sure what that will entail, though the heater works great). The brakes feel just a slight bit spongy, so I'm recommending fresh fluid and complete air bleed of the system. I drive the truck frequently and feel they're quite acceptable, just a recommendation at this point. While the 5-digit odo reads only 62K, you can figure it's likely turned over once. That's about it!If you're thinking of bidding on a comparable Chevy or Ram pickup of similar vintage, you really owe it to yourself to drive and look this nice F250 over first!

Because of the amount of money involved in buying a vehicle, we require that Ebay members with a feedback history of five or fewer transactions call, text or email before placing a bid.If I don't have this initial contact, your bid may be cancelled. As I've outlined above, the phone number to talk directly to me is 206/914-1173.My name is MARK.You're welcome and encouraged to set an appointment and come by my Auburn, WA warehouse to inspect & drive the truck (a professional inspection is fine, too). Please don't be upset by a missed flaw or some unforeseen problem. No vintage used car or truck is ever perfect! You might also think about making an offer as many of my vehicles sell to smart "early birds" that contact me and work out a deal prior to the auction's end.I always reserve the right to sell during this period.

A Few Additional Terms and Conditions:

Full payment is due by cash (in person only) or certified funds within seven business days unless prior arrangements have been made with me.I can accept credit or debit cards, but I'll first need to invoice you and ask that you cover the 3.5% fee our processor charges us.Please remember you're bidding to buy and I fully expect the winner to fulfill their Ebay contract! You're not bidding to hold or then come inspect and test-drive the vehicle later -- You're more than welcome to do this before the auction ends.

If you decide to have the F-250 shipped home, there are numerous vehicle transport companies to choose from. I ship vehicles pretty regularly and suggest you get bids from transporters listed here on the Ebay site by pressing the "Shipping" tab found above this description section. In addition, I have a local company many of our buyers have used for delivery all over the country and I'd be happy to get a COD bid from them after the auction is completed. The zip code for pickup is 98002 (Auburn, WA). Ultimately, transport of the vehicle and the company chosen are the responsibility of the BUYER.

Thetruck can be stored free of charge at my location for up to two weeks after the auction ends assuming full payment has been received. After that period storage is $20 per day.The vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. All information described above is based on the observed condition when thelisting was placed. I've done my very best to describe the Ford as honestly as possible and encourage bidders to contact me with questions.
