Description:
1933 Ford Tudor Sedan
With its classic form in optimal condition and teaming with an array of decidedly modern comfort and convenience options, this 1933 Ford Tudor Sedan not only offers style in abundance, but also a level of functionality you don't often see in its niche. It's that unique classic car that's not only an attention getter wherever it goes, but also provides a rewarding driving experience in the process, and it comes complete with build receipts to document the array of quality components it carries, along with restoration photos to document its journey to awesomeness. The body of this '33 was manufactured by Redneck Streetrods, who pride themselves on the durability and precision of their single mold construction. True to form, you won't find any stress cracks or other issues on display here. From any vantage point, the body alignment looks nice and even, with uniform gaps surrounding a pair of doors that open and shut smoothly and tight lines all the way around. The dark cherry metallic paint it's draped with looks absolutely outstanding. It's a PPG product to begin with, so the quality is built in, and it sits under a very strong clearcoat to produce a nice shine that really comes alive in the sun. The Hercules steel hood blends perfectly with the rest of the body and the Valley grille, another high quality, precisely machined component, looks great as it sits between the two prominent headlights up front. This is also a very finished looking car - the exterior fittings are at their best and clear glass surrounds the cabin, whose tastefully chopped look has been very well executed. Open one of the suicide doors and you'll see that the collection of modern interior features have been installed seamlessly, so that a suitably vintage look has been retained while upping functionality and comfort by quite a bit. The pair of amply padded bucket seats are covered in gray ultra-leather that combines an opulent look with plenty of practical durability, bracketed by matching door panels on their sides. The dash area is a standout, with its collection parchment-colored AutoMeter gauges looking great against their gray backdrop. Three well located vents cool the cabin via an air conditioning system that's functioning at the top of its game, while an AM/FM/CD stereo sits at the center, joined by a multi-CD changer to provide plenty of listening options. To the right, the generously proportioned Alpine Navigation Screen is a welcome sight in a frequent driver. The fuel injected 350 cubic inch LT1 V8 sitting in the tapered compartment is the engine Chevy used to power its Corvettes for quite some time. It was thoroughly rebuilt before its installation, so it's running strong and sounding great through its Stainless Specialties glasspack style mufflers. The chrome components it carries, including its air conditioning compressor and alternator, look very sharp in this setting. Rounding out the drivetrain is a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 3.50 rear end - a nice ratio to pair with the transmission's overdrive gear to provide both strong off the line acceleration and low RPMs on the highway. With coilovers in both front and back, this classic has a nice, smooth ride and 4-wheel power disc brakes bring it to dependable stops on its 15" American Racing Torq Thrust wheels that are wrapped with BF Goodrich T/A radials.
