Description:

1953 Ford Customline

Are you looking to stand out in the crowd? Tired of being lost in a sea of Tri-five Chevy's, Camaros and Mustangs? If you are looking for something different, cool and draws serious attention then please take a look at this 1953 Ford Customline Gasser.
The car was built as a tribute to the Gassers raced in the 1960's. It was built to look period correct.
The motor is a 496 C.I. BBC, with a very lumpy Comp Cam, Roller Rockers, Aluminum Heads, Weiand Tunnel Ram with 2 Quickfuel Carbs, MSD ignition, Aluminum radiator, electric fans, aluminum fuel cell, etc.
Borg Warner Super T10 Tranny, Centerforce Clutch. 9" Ford rear with 4:10 gears.
The rear tires are Pie Crust cheater slicks on stealies and Speedway 10 spoke front wheels.
Speedway straight axle with disc brake set up. Rear drum brakes.
The paint is a true patina with that "just out of the barn" look.
Interior is period correct with Dodge camper seats, vintage roll bar, and aluminum door panels.
Only about 1500 miles since being built. Everything is new or rebuilt.
Car is street driven and has never been raced or abused.
I'm looking to sell to buy a Hot Rod or Street Rod.
Will consider selling as a roller.
