1965 Ford Mustang "A" Code 4 Barrel - Matching Numbers - Nut & Bolt Restoration
1965 Ford Mustang Coupe
1965 Mustang Coupe "A" Code 4V. Rangoon red exterior with white interior/red trim. All Matching numbers. The original engine tag and rear end tag are in place. All casting codes, tags, and assembly codes match to the in assembly dates to the car and each other. Only modifications from original parts are the dual exhaust, electric choke, radial tires (Micheline excellent condition), Painless wire harness and added stereo. The nice option with the Painless wiring is options, such as AC, can be added easily.
The car was nut and bolt restored about 8 years ago and has been driven a good amount since. It has been kept very clean underneath and still appears well detailed. Photos demonstrate how clean the car is kept. It runs and drives perfect and can be driven any distance.
The horn is not working and the speedometer bounces, but all other items on the car work perfectly including all lights, gauges, wipers, etc.
The car is a radio delete. A JVC stereo with CD player and aux input was installed. There is one front speaker and one rear speaker mounted in factory locations...no cutting. Both speakers are dual coil type so you still get the stereo sound...two speakers in one speaker sound.
The cars overall condition can be described best by the following descriptions from professional sources:

"Number 2 Condition (Very Good):
This car is well restored with an eye for detail, or is a well preserved original, possibly with such low mileage that it remains in showroom condition. The interior and exterior show well, and it runs and rides smoothly. This class is a slight grade below Class One. A Class Two has not been detailed to the extent that a Class One has been. It is considered "cherry" or "mintâ€. This vehicle might appear as a Class One until judged against one. It would not qualify as a 95 or better "point" vehicle. Although a Class Two might be driven sparingly it should show no signs of being driven. (Clean underneath, absolutely no rust anywhere.)"
