I am selling my 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe in Medium Shadow Blue. Runs and drives flawlessly, blows ice cold A/C, and tires have plenty of tread. Factory manuals and window sticker included.
It is equipped with a Lima 2.3 factory turbocharged 4 cylinder engine, Optional A4LD 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission, Factory 3:73 T-LOK (Posi) differential, Rear disc brakes, Sunroof, Factory HELLA foglamps, And the factory 16in. turbo coupe aluminum wheels.
Does have a couple modifications such as an aftermarket glasspack muffler, catless downpipe, converted to standard struts from the factory computer-controlled "firm ride" suspension, and LED Headlights, but is otherwise completely factory. The interior is in amazing condition with working power windows, door locks, side mirror adjustments, and seat adjustments. The factory sound system sounds perfect. Factory sunroof functions properly and has no leaks. All interior and exterior lighting works.
Has an amber ABS light for what I believe to be a wheel speed sensor but it does not affect the drivability whatsoever. Although it is in excellent condition for its age, it is a used car afterall so it does have very minor exterior and interior imperfections such as paint chips/discoloration, a couple small dings, the passenger corner light and rear passenger taillight have a little moisture, small tear under rear center armrest (hard to notice when armrest is folded down), small inner hairline cracks in taillight lenses, light oxidation on aluminum wheel surfaces, but all of these imperfections can be fixed or are hard to notice.
Very cool, rare, and fun to drive 80s Ford to find especially in this condition and with such low mileage. Open to reasonable offers. Local pickup only.
