Meet little Ms. "Jane Fozda" a 1972 Courier imported by Ford, and built by Mazda(Much better looking than her Actress counterpart, but that's just my opinion, LOL)
Now before we get started, lets just clear the air, this vehicle does have some RUST,and also it is NOT running, if your still interested continue reading in the description.
Like all vehicles of this age, especially from the Southeast, and I don't count Florida,this vehicle was subject to winters, probably some snow, and probably some salt too.
The Cab floor has been replaced at some point in her life, looks like decent work, butas seen in the pictures, the rocker on pass side has had some "work" by the previousowner, and also more of that "work" on the passenger bedside. I am guessing bondo.
Overall this truck is pretty solid, tons of surface rust. Did I just say tons? Yes, I did.Tons of surface rust, which gives her that "Old School Patina" look people craving.
This truck is a SINGLE family owned vehicle, purchased NEW in South Carolina,and I was told after the gentleman passed went to Alabama (Where I found her) tothe Grandson who retitled it (Clear AL Title) but never got around to fixing her up.In the glovebox their are detailed mileage journals, also found the Portecto Plate. Iput 1M miles on it, cause it looks to be just over 50K original, but the Grandson inthe retitle process listed it as 350K, so can't verify any of that one way or the other.
3 of the last 4 years this vehicle has been stored inside. The story I was given wasit was driven into that spot, but last year was pushed outside. Yup, you guessed it,NOT currently running. Fluids look good, Gas tank was emptied, and the Radiatorstill was pressurized when I popped the cap. With a battery and some starting fluidi bet she would fire off, but .......... I have NOT tried to get her running. (Too busy)
She comes with a ton of spare new and Used parts. New door seals still in package,another New seal (Think it's rear window) and 2 spare Carburetors. (1 looks NEW)and 2 full plastic totes of switches, interior parts, spare distributers, etc .................
The dash pad is cracked and passenger side is gone (Steel dash, so big whoop) theseat needs to be reworked and recovered (Normal drivers side wear) and as shownin pics lower door panels have some water damage from years and years of usage.
My plans were to make it run, lower it, and just drive the crap out of it, but planschange. (Yup, I found something else, Bought it, now I have too much Yard Art)
