Description:

1967 Ford Mustang

For your consideration is this "1968 Bullitt" inspired Ford Mustang. All the work done is professional stuff, I only use the best cars with the best professionals on builds.
I started with a nice, not rusted out, driver condition 1967 Mustang fastback that had recent brake and other work done. Essentially a solid daily driver with a smooth running small block. A perfect starting point. A perfect GT looking stance, where the rear appears lower. Next I had the following done by my team:
  • Stripped down the paint, removed the windshields and rear glass. Removed the interior.
  • Weldedthe Mustang and Ford emblem holes in the hoodand the rear decklid. Welded inthe 1967 Mustang quarter vents, no one really ever does this and it makes the car that much closer to the movie car. Not filler, all metal. This is as close as you are going to get to a smooth looking "Bullitt".
  • Updated the paint in the engine compartment, the 289 V8 looks great!
  • New paint, completed in April 2018. Not a show car $20K like what my guys are doing on some of my other rotisserie builds of 1970 Chargers and Mustangs, job but not a $6K job either. The black in the tail light panel is gloss, not flat, a subtle change from the original Bullitt. These guys that did the work do awesome work and the car looks awesome. The pics don't lie!
  • Had my interior guys in Houston do a complete interior job on the car, seats all look really really nice.
  • New SS trim was installed on the windshield, rear window. New grill, new grill trim, new door handles, New bumpers, new tail light bezels were painted gloss black and installed.
  • A new fuel tank was installed, new plugs, new distributor, new wires, air cleaner etc.
  • The trunk was spayed on the inside with a flat black and the backside of the quarters with a rust inhibitor. NOT bedlined like so many others to hide the flaws. Would rather you see the honest car, not try and hide things. We were going to update the undercoat the entire car, it was clearly undercoated a while ago, but held off. Again, we didn't want to hide anything for a potential buyer - and yeah it all looks great underneath as it is now.
  • New radiator, oil change, etc.
  • New tires and new wheels were installed, American Racing Torque Thrust II's.
And of course yes a clear Texas Title. This is a get in and go, 4-speed, small block, 1967 Bullitt Mustang, Highland Green, and it will give you NO disappointments. 100% realize it's not a 1968 or the hassle with a 390 big block, it's just an awesome looking perfect cruiser.
Please be sure and watch my future sales, I've got a bunch of 1970 chargers on the rotisseries now, a bunch of other mopar and mustang stuff that will be available soon. Will sell them anywhere from metal done rollers to 100% complete cars!! Happy Bidding and I know you will enjoy this sweet car.
