Car run and drives excellent. Was in the process of doing a full restoration. About 80% complete. Need to fix a few small issues (ex: fuel sending unit, turn signal switch, things like that), interior needs to be gone thru, engine bay needs tidying up, and body needs new seals/weatherstrip/paint to be 100% complete. Over $22k invested so far (over $14k spent on engine PARTS alone).
Super fast car. Runs great. Can be a daily, drag racer, autocross, or just cruise like it is. Gets tons of compliments. Sounds amazing. Has Dart 347, Vortec blower pushing 9 psi (est. to make about 550-600 rwhp. Never had it dyno'd just tuned at track. Tuner ran a 10.3 1/4 in car exactly how it sits now. Also comes with 18 psi pulley that will put car in 9s on slicks and race gas), Legend LGT700 transmission (research it), bassani exhaust, 9" rear, new suspension, new upgraded cooling system, 95 cobra 5 lug swap, factory ac (needs conversion), subframe connectors, boxed rear control arms, caster camber plates, aluminum driveshaft, Moser axles, 3.73 gears, posi, SCT 6600 chip and switch (probably could use a tune), Aeromotive 340 pump, many other upgrades. Has new radio and speakers. Sounds great.Needs paint job, driver seat leans, rear seats need reinstall (everything is there), front tire has a bump on sidewall (drives fine but obviously needs replaced), turn signal switch, need fuel sending unit installed (new one in box), needs wiper arms, needs fog lights reconnected, needs alignment, windshield is cracked, rubber around windows and doors is rotted (car doesn't leak anywhere, just making mention of it), passenger door needs lock actuator, center armrest needs new pad, and a few other things. None of this stuff is major and many places sell kits for a few hundred bucks that'll fix all of these issues.
Took in on a round trip drive to North Carolina and back from Georgia last year. Drove it as a daily for about 6 months last year. My new baby started walking and car has been sitting since. Probably since around October. Too much money invested for it to sit. Bought new BMW and need the garage space.
I am 2nd owner (original owner died and left car to grandson who removed drivetrain and sold it to me). body has 35k miles from what I'm told. Dont know the accuracy. I do know that the drivetrain (engine, tranny, rear end, 5 lug swap) has about 4k miles on it since built in 2016. No trades. Shipping is responsibility of buyer. 0 feedback = no bids. Car sold as is. Needs minor things. Great candidate for a restoration. Car sat for better part of 20 years so it has a lot of brittle rubber and plastics. Solid body. Over 20k invested.
