1966 Ford Mustang ONE OWNER 2+2 C-CODE FASTBACK

This is a 1 family owned original/unrestored 1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 fastback something you don't find very often, The gentleman I bought this car from (88 years old) purchased it brandnew for his wife from Hull Dobbs Ford here in Memphis Tennessee in the spring of 1966 and it has been in the area ever since, As soon as she laid eyes on this car sitting on the showroom floor she simply fell in love with the color (Springtime yellow) and had to have it, The rest is history as they went on to enjoy the car for a long time until health problems forced them park it many years ago, Always in the south and never subjected to salty roads or climates, Clean/solid cowl area, Never rawhided, abused or seriously involved in any bad accidents, This car is 98% original and was found sitting under the original owner's carport where people have been trying to buy it for years, It was repainted one time long ago back to it's factory color, It appears to still have some of it's original paint in the door jambs, Both doors, the hood and the trunk open and close with ease, All bodylines and bodygaps are nice and straight, The C-code 289ci V8 2bbl engine, C-4 automatic transmission, and rearend are all original to the car, The black bucketseat interior w/floorshift is all original, Headliner is torn but I have a new one which is included, Original uncut dash with the factory "FORD" AM radio still intact, All original bodypanels, New tires, Original wheels/hubcaps, 1 wheel needs replacement, All glass is good, It will crank and run but needs carburetor work before trying to drive it on the road, Solid southern body with very little rust easily repairable, The floorpans (pictured) have some rust through which is very repairable or replaceable, Front torque boxes, rear framerails, and both the door bottoms and rockerpanels are solid, Killer car to tinker with and enjoy as is or take it to another level, 1 owner 1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastbacks that haven't been altered in any or many ways are few and far between this day and time, 52 year old classic that isn't perfect however on the other hand it's the way I like to find these cars honest, original and mostly untouched, Overall a neat father/son/daughter fixer-upper to restore back as original? or build a nice streetcar?, hotrod?, GT fastback clone?, Many possibilities with this one, Very rare/one time opportunity for somebody and someone is going to get a very nice car to play with, Great investment that will only increase in value, Serious inquiries only, I have a personal delivery driver for quick delivery @ $1.25 a loaded mile that can have the car to you with the quickness if you choose to do it that way, Serious inquires only please, This is not a fire sale, Feel free to contact Paul @ 901-219-9569 with any questions, If no answer please leave a detailed message and I will return your call as soon as possible, Bidders with zero/less than 10 positive feedback must contact me before bidding or I will cancel your bid/bids, Bank wire transfer preferred for payment as it is the quickest and safest method of payment for both the buyer and the seller, If you cannot follow our payment instructions please look elsewhere, Sold in as-is condition with a clean clear title, Thanks again for looking and bidding.
