1965 Ford F-100 SWB Bucket seat!
Up for action is a very RARE, clean, original Ford f-100This truck has the very rare bench seat delete option with factory installed bucket seats. only 120 to 130short wheel base trucks left Ford with this option. I have the original order sheet to prove its options.The truck has always been in dry storage (garage) and is a 2 owner vehicle the original owner owned this beautyup until his passing in 2017.The odometer shows 91731 mi. and altho mileage is high for a survivor of this condition. maintenance was always done, and done correctly with proper oem parts.Truck was always drove in good weather. care was always a priority for him and the condition speaks volumes.
Altho it was cared for and kept dry. The (small) mid floor braces rusted out. The rockers and surrounding floor are near perfect. my guess is Ford didn't treat the metal correctly and humidity and washing of the vehicle caused this. luckily if one decided to replace these down the road, they are available and inexpensive. The braces are easy to access and replace without body work or paint. This is the only know place of rust. The floors, bed, fenders, cab body mounts, corners etc. are extremely solid, darn near perfect.
When I received the truck in 2017 the prior owner had not ran or driven the truck in a few years, so I replace the fuel line, hoses, fuel pump, belts, thermostat, rebuilt the carb, water pump, timing chain, battery/cables, alternator, voltage regulator. did a full brake job: shoes, cylinders, hardware, hoses, master cyl etc... changed all the fluids
every single thing on this truck works! except for the temp gauge (it needs a sensor)
