COLLECTOR QUALITY AND SHOW READY
This car is not your average fox mustang, It has been babied when driven and carefully maintained since new and is in overall excellent condition. The black interior is the nicest I have personally seen in any fox body that wasn't a low mile 93 cobra. The paint shines and looks fantastic and is mostly all original, the only non factory paint on the body are the body side moldings that were painted in 91 by the original selling dealer. Car is an extremely nice overall example of an LX fox hatch with the very desirable combination of vermillion red and black interior.
The original owner worked at the selling dealer when the car was purchased new. He wanted more performance, and at that time the aftermarket parts available for 5.0 Mustangs was not anything like it is today. The owner received a Ford employee discount and purchased all of the parts through the selling dealers parts department. As such, the parts are installed were factory Ford Motorsport/SVO pieces and are considered both period and date correct, and also quite rare to have all of the originally installed GT-40 equipment together in a package that was installed at the selling dealer. The plug wires are also period correct Ford Motorsport. Although the car is not all factory original, all of the modifications are what I would call day 2 mods for a fox body mustang. These modifications in my opinion are very tasteful, and make the vehicle run, sound, and perform much better than factory equipped.
