This is a factory A code top of the line 225 HP 4v car' It has been upgraded with a recently freshened GT/COBRA High output 5.0 302 hydraulic roller cammed 300+ Horsepower engine, backed by a Tremec 5 speed transmission and center force clutch and shifted with an ultra coo, smooth shifting Hurst shifter and matching vintage shift ball. Many $ have been spent to make a more modern engine look like a vintage 289. Fitted with a custom dual exhaust system, tucked in tight and right with H pipe and flow master mufflers. Heavy duty springs and gas shocks,lowered and 1 1/8 front sway bar as well as a SHELBY export brace and Monte Carlo bar makes car handle very well. Painted Hot Rod black, single stage enamel with gold GT 350H accent stripes gives it that 1960 s look. Interior comes with new seats,dash pad, carpet, wood grain trim on instrument cluster and glove box. It still retains its Factory tinted glass in excellent condition, with new windshield. Vintage SHELBY type 3inch wide racing seat belt. Many of this cars components are new or near new.All stainless,chrome,emblems,bumpers,bumper guards are fantastic looking. Fuel tank,fuel sending unit,fuel pump, brakes,brake lines,tires and most engine components are all new. This car has no rust, no patch panels, and has spent its life in dry west coast living (NO SALT) AZ and CA. So if you cant swing a vintage SHELBY you might want to consider this Mustang as a close 2nd. This is not a trailer queen it has some nicks,chips,dings,dents,rips,drips,smells etc you get the point.
