1955 Ford Crown Victoria

This will be the last time I list this car for sale here on eBay. I lowered the price $500. I just want to be clear there is no title with this car. I had to put it under "salvage title", so they would allow me to list it here in the Cars & Trucks Section of eBay Motors. I also want people to know, this is clearly not a 1955 Crown Victoria and that I do know this 100%. There was no model option available for a 1955 Customline in eBay Motors. So, I had to list it under 1955 Crown Victoria instead. Up for auction is my 1955 Ford Customline 2-door. I have finally decided this car needs to go to another home. Hopefully with someone who will fix it up ya know? I'm a dedicated Mopar car guy, and I am just not into old Fordslike this. This car was traded to me years ago, by the previous owner (Mike) near Verdigris, Oklahoma. I believe he told me it was the car he drove back in high school? Something like that. Car was last tagged in 1990. Mike was suppose to get me the title to the car, but that never happened. Car is sold without a title, but I can provide a bill of sale without any issues. If you want a title for it? I can have a friend of mine who can get a title for it up in Kansas. But, it will cost you $500 going through me. Car has a 292 Y-block in it,with a 3-speed manual transmission. They are probably the original motor and tranny to the car (can't confirm though). Motor is stuck from sitting, but I am sure it could be broke loose without too much effort. I did check the oil dip stick and there was some oil registering on it. I did not see any water in the motor from the dip stick. Car has rust here and there. Some areas are not bad as others. I am sure it will need floors pans, and other repairs a car of this age needs. It's not cherry by any means at all, but I don't consider it junk either. It does needs a lot of body work to bring it back to it's former glory though. The car still retains it's original 1955 Ford 8 inch rear end in back there. The original drive shaft is still hooked up and in the car currently. The car has misc. parts laying inside it and inside the trunk as well. Car has a really nice front lower grille with it, and I still have the original light baby blue painted steel/spare rim to the car too. Car rolls and steers just fine with no issues. It can be loaded on a trailer without any problems at all. I can even assist in loading it, if you need help doing so?I might have the keys for the car, but I may have never received them as well. I don't remember ever getting the keys from the previous owner. I will look through all of my extra car keys, and see if any of them are to the '55 Customline.The passenger's side window is broke out, and the driver's side door glass is some kind of cheap plexiglass that someone installed in it. A brand new blue tarp goes with the car to cover up the windows. All the other glass in the car appears to be original to it. Most of the chrome/stainless steel trim is in good shape. Certain trim pieces do have some dents in them, but I didn't see a ton of dents though. The hood, fenders, doors and the deck lid all seem to be savable to me. I see no reason to buy used replacements as everything looks to be fixable to me.The original color of the car was a light baby blue/turquoise from the factory. The interior was also a light baby blue/turquoise coloras well. Car was repainted red many years ago and so was the interior. The body does have some bondo in it here and there. I did put some brand new chrome lug nuts on the car. The wheels and tires are older Ford bolt pattern (4 1/2 on 5) trailer rims, that came off of my car buddies camper he had many years ago. They are nothing special, but they allowed me to get the car rolling and that was that. The dry rotted tires still hold good air and have never really went flat on me all of these years later. I did put fresh air in all of the tiresnot too long ago, and they appear to still be holding good air even now. This car needs a lot of work, and maybe you would just wanna buy it as a parts car for another 2-door 1955 Customline? I would really hate to see that, but whatever the next owner does with it is their business and not mine. I am gonna start the bidding at a super low $1,500 with no reserve. I just want the car to go to a good home, as I will never build it. It's just not a Mopar muscle car to me, and there is just no passion there for me to restore it.

You can obviously pay for it with cash in person or with a postal money order, when you come to pick it up from me. That's how most people do it anyway. It can be stored free of charge, a little while after the car has been paid for in full. That's if you require some time needed to come and pick it up from me ya know? If the car has to sit here a couple months? It won't be a big deal with me at all
