This is a cool old truck that is rare to find. It is a 1962 Ford Econoline Five Window Pickup that is extremely solid. It is a lifelong California truck that has allowed it to stay almost rust free after 50+ years. The body is very straight. It does have some bubbling on the paint but I think they are due to paint prep. They are certainly not structural. It is minor but, unlike alot of sellers on Ebay, I just want to be upfront and honest about everything from the start so you are happy with your new truck. The paint has some minor chips and scratches. The clearcoat is peeling in some spots. Honestly, the paint probably looks better in pictures than it does in person but it is still a nice looking driver. I just don't want anybody to be surprised. It has front and rear chrome bumpers on it which are a nice addition. The bed is solid. The Econoline runs and drives well. It is a six cylinder mated to a three speed manual transmission. The clutch and brakes are good. The interior is good. The original seats have been re-covered in cloth. The driver's side has some small tears as I showed in the pictures. The passenger side is good. It needs a carpet kit. Factory padded dash and excellent original Econoline steering wheel and horn ring. Factory gauge cluster. The tailgate is in good condition and, if you have ever tried to find one, you will realize how difficult that can be. Toolbox mounted in the bed. All in all, this is a cruiser that everybody loves. Clean, clear CA title in hand. It never needs to be smogged, as it is smog exempt.This will sell this first time advertised! I am looking for an early Toyota Landcruiser or Ford Bronco and I need more room. My van is most definitely not for sale. This is a great deal for a cool, one of a kind vintage truck.
