This particular example is finished just as it was built from the factory in Honey Gold paint over two tone deluxe pony interior! The car features the venerable Ford 289 V8 engine in the C Code variation which featured a 2 barrel carburetor!
Overall, this Mustang is absolutely loaded out with options! You name it, this car likely has it! Power steering, power brake, air conditioning which still blows ice cold, factory Motorola reverb which is trunk mounted, deluxe interior and steering wheel, center console, Cobra valve covers, GT exhaust, fog lights, vinyl top, and rally pac gauges on the steering column! All in all, you simply won't find a better optioned Mustang for as reasonable a price as this one can be purchased at! There are certainly some Mustang coupes listed here on eBay which can be purchased for less money, but they would take many thousands of dollars to bring those cars up to the level of this one.
Cosmetically, this 1965 Mustang coupe shows remarkably well. The paint has been done to a very high level and shows extremely well. It is a remarkably sharp car. The white vinyl top displays amazingly well. The interior is in wonderful condition as is the trunk..both of which can be seen in the extensive pictures provided below!
Everything works on this wonderful Mustang, even the air conditioning! This is rare as most all these Mustangs with under-dash AC units have long since expired and no longer work! This one does and provides for the perfect driving experience on a warm Spring or Summer day!
This Mustang runs and drives very well. The engine has plenty of power, does not smoke, and starts right up without any hesitation. The car goes down the road just as you would expect one of these cars to perform and, overall, the car is just a pleasure to drive.
In summary, this is a Mustang which really stands out in a crowd of many coupes on the open market. These coupes are generally rusty, or poorly assembled, or just barely hanging onto dear life. This example has been well restored to a high level and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner. Safe to say, this car is a relative bargain considering that it would cost most to restore any decent Mustang coupe on the open market to the level of this car than the amount of money which this particular example can be purchased for right now!
