You are viewing a true California rust-free 1940 Ford Standard Tudor Sedan. This is what great patina looks like. The Standard is the favorite of any old time hotrodder with the earlier style grille, single tail light and a single visor. The dash finish was unique to the Standard model. The upholstery is original and very good. The carpets are original. There is even a sign of the factory liner installed in the tool box tray. The paint has got plenty time related flaws but the body in razor straight. The door and deck lid shut and latch easily. The door and trunk keys operate the lock as they should. The brightwork is nice with no damage or repair to the stainless. The dash is factory original and near perfect. The gauges all operate as they should. The car starts effortlessly and runs and drive nice. The steering feels like a low mileage car. The transmission is quiet and the clutch is smooth. There is a new gas tank and new dual exhaust. The Tudor has a clear California title. This car is way too nice to ever restore or use as a core body to build. It's a true survivor.
