My inspiration for this car was the Doane Spencer roadster in the early version. This is not a clone but is a tribute to the ingenuity shown by Doane throughout his automotive life.The chassis is an original 32 frame one of the nicest i have ever worked on with a real model A front crossmember stock K member modified for a T5 transmission and a stock rear crossmember. The front suspension is a 32 heavy axle dropped 3 inches Posie multiple leaf spring behind the axle on custom owner built bat-wings and hair pins. 33 Ford shocks inside the frame. MT 40 Lincoln drum brakes on 40 spindles with custom steering arms. 1932 steering box with 15/1 ratio and needle bearings for the sector shaft. Rear end is a 1936 rear gone through by Hot Rod Works with 9 inch ford axles and housing ends. Spring is a posies multiple leaf radius rods are 1936 and shocks are 1932. Brakes are 11 inch ford. Wheels and tires are all 16 inch with Coker classic's.The engine is a 1949 8BA bored 3/16 with a 4 inch Merc crank. French rods Ross Pistons. Navaro heads and intake 59A style new Strombergs Isky Max 1 Mallory unilite crab distributor. All machine work by H&H flatheads assembly buy the owner. S10 T5 transmission.Brookville body with the cowl modified to resemble the 36 roadster look and for the Duvall windshield. Windshield made by Cam Grant and he straightened up the outside edges for a more correct look. Real 32 parts are the front spreader bar. hood tops firewall gas tank. and rear frame horn covers. Dash panel by the owner all gauges work the AMP gauge was modified to a volt gauge.Interior is all King Ranch brown leather by Judge and the Top is a custom Bop type with the frame work by the owner.If further questions call John 509 670 2923
