Looking to sell my rat rod/hot rod, this is a 1945 Ford truck rat rod, hot rod. The cab is from a 1945 Ford all-wheel drive 1 1/2 ton Army truck from WW2. It still has the military ID plate with instructions on how to operate the transfer case ect. Post vin was originally the military vin but has since been out of commission with a new NV vin for license and reg. The big truck cabs are the same size as the 1/2 ton cabs, The cab top has been chopped 8", the roof has been cut out and covered with a truck bed cover material with polished snaps every 6 inches. Rear mail-slot rear window with no side windows. Window channels are finished so side windows can be installed if you want them. Door handles and mirrors are built from original "S" bend wrenches. The floor and transmission/drive shaft tunnel are custom made out of heavy gauge sheeting w/ 1" square tubing frame work under it. All rust from the original body was cut out and patched with new steel but the dings and dents of the body were untouched to leave character.The chassis was built in late 2009 and is titled as a 2009 car.
The air cleaner was fabricated from an old stainless steel fire extinguisher and still has the original tag on it. The bed is from a 1939 Dodge, bed was shortened 30" just short enough to hide the rear suspension.
The chassis is a custom HD frame, built in 2009. 6" Z in the front and 22" Z in the rear. Rear end is a triangulated 4 link and QA1 coil over shocks on a 9" ford with nodil 4.10 posi with 31 spline strange engineering super street axles.
It has new tremex TKO 600 close ratio 5 speed transmission behind a newly rebuilt 1956 Chrysler Imperial Fire Power HEMI.
This truck will pull people off of any other car at any show.
Motor: Chrysler 354 Hemi out of a 1956 Chrysler Imperial completely rebuilt with new .030 forged pistons, Isky racing cam, adjustable pushrods, moroso 7 quart oil pan, GM HEI distributor, GM Big BKicj Chevy weiand high flow watyer pump, aluminum radiator. custom headers with coating. 671 Raw cast Blower.
Drive: Tremee TKO 600 5 speed, close ratio 5 speed over drive, heavy dry slip yoke, will handle 600ft of torque. 9' ford rear end with 4 link.
Chrome 4" drop front axle, full size GM disc brakes adapted to new for style splines.
12 circuit mini fuse wiring harness
white face autometer gauges
Spal curved blade 3000 cfm fan
Wilwood hydrolic clutch and brakes with hanging pedals.
Stainless steel 1/2 barrel beer fuel tank.
Bear claw latches in the doors
Bomber style seats
ET111 15x5 gasser style front wheels
Indy polished 15x10 slotted rear wheels with 10.5" wide hoozier tires
Custom built 2x3x1/4 tubing, 22" Z in rear 6" Z in front Vegas style steering box with cross steering, poweder coated black.
8" chop top.

If you are not into rat rods you could EASILY place a kit car or new body on this chassis and have a great handling hot rod. This IS NOT a butt-welded death trap of a rat rod, the only thing rat rod is the body and accessory.
