1941 Ford Business Coupe Super Deluxe

Not enough time to enjoy all of them! Selling my 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Business Coupe. This one is a rare bird... First, it's a Super Deluxe and all the rare Super Deluxe trim etc are on the car, including the wheel trim rings. The car has the optional fold down jump seats which takes it down to less than 6000 made. The original color (a light blue) was only available in the Spring of 1941. No records indicate how many were painted this color. The car is 99% stock. It had a custom interior installed sometime in the late 50's/early 60's, seat covers, door panels, all soft trim, including a perforated headliner. There is one tear in the drivers side seat panel (see pic). Otherwise the interior is in great shape, could use a good cleaning, that's about it.
The good:Rebuilt flathead-stock rebuild. Runs like a sewing machine3 on the tree shifts perfect, clutch works perfectBrakes all redone.Included but not installed: NOS set of running boards, NOS set of lower grills (need plating). An original radio (condition unknown), original fender marker lights in excellent condition. Original horn, needs to be cleaned but works perfect. All the dash trim (new, not installed) including the center chrome piece.New gas tank, filler neck and hose.
Good or bad based on opinion: older repaint.color change is faded, chipped etc. Surface rust where paint came off. No filler found besides a possible skim coat in places. Body is solid as a rock. NO RUST (cancer rust). Why I say based on opinion is that the car looks awesome as is.
Bad: Trunk floor had a piece a sheet metal installed over it many many years ago. If you want, that should come out and a good trunk patch done. That's really the only bad I have found.
Could use a set of tires at some point but these work just fine... A little inside wear on the fronts.
Car starts, drives, stops all like it is supposed to. All electrical works including interior opera lights.
This is NOT a restored car. It is a well maintained original that has all perfect mechanicals. No real dents to speak of, at least nothing significant. This is a 100% hop in and drive car. Cruises at highway speed with no issues (well, tar strips can be a joy with the bias ply tires!)
Drive as is, restore or make a 50's custom tail dragger! But please, don't dump the flathead! It's perfect and deserves to stay in the car! But, if you buy it, it's yours to do with as you wish!!
Currently registered in NC and insured by Grundy for agreed 20K value. Will deliver within 4 hours of Raleigh for gas money! Otherwise transport is responsibility of purchaser.
The pictures really don't do it justice. I went to buy a set of F1 fenders and came home with fenders and this car. I couldn't pass it up... I have enjoyed it but want to get on with some of the others... time for someone else! Let me know if you have any other questions or want a picture of something specific.
