1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. This Bird is worth taking a look at. Runs and drives excellent. It has its original 390 4 bbl., with the Cruise-O-Matic dual range 3 speed automatic. This car has Power windows, Power seat, Power disc brakes, Power steering, Power top, Power antenna, Slide away steering wheel (column moves inward for easy exit) and is an Air Conditioned Convertible with Tinted glass. The Top and back window are near perfect. It also comes with the upholstered and painted Roadster kit, Rear fender skirts and a set of wire wheels. You can really change the look of the car in minutes. Looks great with the Red Candy Apple paint and White top and interior. This is a Southern California car that was purchased at the Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale 2002 by the current owner and has been well taken care of since. There is no rust and has all of its original panels, the trunk and underside look incredibly clean. Many new parts have been installed on this car in the past few years. Power top pump, solenoids, relays, trunk lid motor, trunk flap spring assist and the power window master switch as well as general maintenance (receipts included). If you know these cars then you know there are a lot of electronics, switches and pumps that make the top and trunk lid function. All of the gages, lights, horn, courtesy lights, etc., work as they should. Now, being painted nearly 20 years ago, there are some road chip and minor scratch touch ups here and there. There is alsosome small pimples in the painton the trunk lid and hood only (hard to take pic of) but is presentable as it sits. The A/C unit is completely intact and was blowing cold within the last year, but the A/C compressor pulley is making noise and got tight,so the belt was removed. There is also a small exhaust leak that can be heard in video, copper gaskets are included with car. There is a box of spare parts, original manual, original valve covers and many repair schematics that are included with the car. Although the wire wheels are included with the sale, there is no room to put them in the car so the transport company needs to be able to haul them loose, original wheels and hub caps are on car now.
