1928 Ford Model A

Up for consideration is a "ONE" owner, original 1928 FORD Phaeton in unrestored condition! The vehicle was located in a barn where the original owner lived from 1928 until the summer of 2017. It had been parked for many decades without use (I have further pictures to document the vehicie history that will be given to the winner of this auction). The engine and drivetrain is original to the vehicle, the vehicle speedometer is showing 55,369 miles. This FORD Model A was produced in March of 1928. The V.I.N range of the vehicle is A609XX (Winning bidder will be given complete V.I.#). The body is in fantastic shape with very little rust on the body as can be seen by the underside of the doors and door jams! The original FORD script is still visible in all of the door jams. It also includes several other items like two extra wheels and tires (used), two water necks, hoses, carburetor, two extra head lamps, other small body items. The vehicle does roll, it will need to be removed from this location with a trailer as it does not run. It will come with a bill of sale. I will include a bill of sale from the original owners as well! As this is an early, first production range FORD Model A, it has considerable collectability! It deserves a great home that can appreciate this vehicle for what it is, similar vehicle in this very early production range in restored condition have recently sold for the upper $40,000.00 dollar range! A Pheaton stripped body recently just sold for over $5,500 for the body alone on a local hotrod sales board! Our original plans was to restore the Model A and keep it forever, due to a change in our lives, and a future move, we have now realized we need to downsize and let go of a few of our collector vehicles. We thought ebay would be a good place to start to advertise for sale. The vehicle will be advertised for sale locally as well, we reserve the right to end the auction at any time if there are no bids here. If you would like additional information please contact us anytime. Thank you!
