1930 Ford 5 Window Coupe This is the 30 before. You can see the great condition this car was in. This is why the end result is so nice. presented by;GARRETT CLASSICS1865 McGee Lane, Ste FLewisville, TX 75077Call Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 FEATURES INCLUDE 350 Chevy Engine bored 40 over 4 Bolt MainPerformance CamMustang World Class T-5 Manual TransmissionHydraulic Clutch11" Lincoln Front Brakes4" Chop9" Ford rear w/positractionOriginal 30 Ford Body32 Ford Frame4 Wheel Juice Brakes This beautiful 30 Ford was the result of a 3 year build which began in May of 2009. Created by the owner of Past Time Rod and Custom, which has since been closed, it was designed to be a mid 60's "Hot Rod". There were some modificationsmade by the current owner that brought it more into the category of a "Street Rod". Enjoy our video here.just click this sentence There is so much to tell about this great car that we hope we don't miss anything. For starters, The frame is an original 32 frame. It has been pinched 1" in the front and 1 1/2 " in the rear, and boxed. The body was dropped 1" down over the frame. The front axle is an original Ford that has been dropped 4" the holes drilled and then chromed. The front brakes are 11" Lincoln brakes. The custom built vents were made and the backing plates drilled to keep the front brakes cool, not to mention how great they look. It has 4 wheel juiced brakes. Split 41 bones drilled, sleeved and chromed. The 350 ci engine is from a 74 Chevy. It was bored 40 over and has a 4 bolt main, with a performance cam. Sitting atop the Edlebrock high rise intake are 2 450 Holley Performance 4bbl carburetors. The radiator is a 4 core aluminum and brass and was custom built to fit the 32 grill and nose. It has 2 ports already installed for a/c in case you want to add it. The attention to detail on this 30 is amazing. Original Ford twolite headlamps. The interior is amazing. Finished in Wasabi green and white Ultra Leather, the builder thought of everything. The seat is the second row seat from a Chrysler mini van. The interior was done by Catto's Custom Upholstery. The back of the seat folds forward to give you access to the storage area behind the seat. There is enough room for 2 folding chairs behind the seat. When's the last time you saw an overhead light in a street rod? The car is titled as a 1930 Ford and has a clear Texas title. There is an oscillatingfan under the dash. The gauges all appear to work. We aren't sure about the gas gauge. There is a Hurst shifter and chrome e-brake. The builder originally had a long shaft Hurst Competition shifter, but the current owner chose the shorter shaft. The undercarriage is also very nicely finished off. There are a few scrapes and bits of surface rust under the car, but this car has been driven and enjoyed by the current owner. It is a pleasure to drive and should be. The trunk is basic an houses the battery and fuel tank. Notice the bracket that holds the deck lid open. It came from a drafting table and is perfect for this application. There is a custom car cover also included. Enjoy more shots of the 30 below. The sun visor was custom made. Unique aluminum and steel wheels. P285/70R15s rear and P215/75R15s front. The tail lights are from a 50 Pontiac. A couple of favorite places for the car crowd to hang out. Days at Sonic and Friday nights at Keller's Hamburgers in Dallas. The two most noticeable flaws in the car are this crack on the dash that isn't as noticeable as the close up picture makes it look. Also this little scrape over the driver's side rear view mirror. I looks like someone tried to adjust the mirror. The good points of this car far outweigh the few minor flaws.
