You are viewing a clean 1965 Ford Mustang coupe for sale. Wimbledon White C code 289 with C4 Automatic Transmission and Black standard interior. Door tag reads: Body 65A, Color M, Trim 26, Date 09Q, DSO 72, Axle 6, Trans 6. Factory equipped with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Console, Day Night mirror, LH remote mirror. Also has early style carpet with plastic on the sides instead of carpet reaching up to the sill plates. I've owned the car about 11 years, previous owner to myself brought the car to IL from CA. It has been stored inside since coming to IL. I still have the California Black plates and the last time the car was stickered was 1981. I have not tried to run it. I do not have keys for the car. As you can see from the photos, it has previous accident damage. The LH front side was hit, pushing the LH shock tower in about 2 inches. Also note the taillight panel and LH rear frame rail. See the picture showing the kink in the rail near by the rear axle bumper. The car needs to go onto a frame rack before starting with the project. This is a restoration or modify project, but it is really clean as far as rust goes. See the underside photos. All panels are clean, with only surface rust showing. This is a full interior and exterior project, but has lots of possibilities. Car located in central IL. Clean title in my name. Payment is by bank money order with car not being released until funds are verified in my account, or cash paid upon pickup. Bring a trailer or send your shipper. Right rear tire does not hold air.
