1970 FORD RANCHERO DESCRIPTIONI Have Personally Driven This Car & It Scared Me!Not Because It Was Too Fast But Because Of The Steering!
Before You Get Too Excited, These PicturesMake The Car Look A Whole Lot Nicer Than It Really Is.It Failed Our "Magnet Test" Miserably!(Expect To Find A Ton Of Bondo And/Or Body Filler!)
Rear Bumper Has Dents As Well As Rust.
Bed Seems Solid However.
Not Trying To Scare Ya, However It Looks Like The Right Rear Tire May Have Come Off At Sometime!!(I Also Believe The Car Was Originally Burgandy)
I'm Not An Expert On These Old Ford's, However I Don't Think That TheShifter Was Originally On The Floor Because The Column Has A Place For The Shifter.(Goes Down The Road Straight & The Brakes Work Good)
Speaking Of The Shifter, When I Reluctantly Took This Car For A DriveSo That I Could Properly Present It To You, It Probably Took Me 5 Minutes JustTo Find Reverse. Something Ain't Quite Right There!While It Looks Like Everything Is Fairly Solid,I'm Not Sure If Things Have Been Patched, Welded, Replaced, Or What.
It Has Headers And The Exhaust Sounds Awesome!All The Glass Is Good & The Windows Roll Up & Down As They Should.
Most Of You Guys Know That I Don't Know Much About Engines,(Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated)But Here's What I Do Know.
1. It Sounds Absolutely Incredible!2. No Smoke - Cold or Hot3. Can Idle Over An Hour Without Overheating4. Obvious Signs Of A Recent Rebuild (Also Told That)5. Transmission Too, So I Was Told6. Cam Just "Lopes" & Sounds Awesome! (See Video)7. I Don't Know How To Tell Engine Size8. But I'm Told It's The Original9. Number I Found on Heads - DOVE-C (Could Be A Zero)10. Freight orders, please contact us for a shipping quote before Checkout as it may affect your decision to purchase. Our handling fee covers preparation for carrier pick-up, a requirement for all carriers. Minimum handling charge is $75 onto a standard pallet and increases for custom pallets.

Damaged Shipments
If item arrives damaged by the carrier, please reject shipment and contact us immediately. If you do receive the package, submit clear images of the packaging/box and damaged item from multiple angles. DO NOT discard the packaging. Save packaging for carrier claim. High Value items requiring special packaging will be foamed into the box. DO NOT lift up on the top plastic sheet or it'll make a mess. Lift foam out of box by grabbing 2nd plastic sheet from both sides. If you accidentally peel the top plastic off, exposing the foam, just look for the next layer of plastic to lift the foam out cleanly. |
