1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1

This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach I not only has an impressive appearance that comes via its trademark Mach I features and vibrant color, but it also arrives with an extensive folder of documentation, including the original build sheet, restoration receipts and a Marti-Report, to chronicle its reemergence into the smooth-running, show-winning classic it is today.
A very sharp "Candy Apple Burgundy" paint job, applied by Hot Rods & Custom Stuff in California using House of Kolor paint, stands in place of the original Acapulco Blue shade it first left the factory with. Plus, all those distinctive exterior Mach I features are in fine form: the reflective striping along the sides remains clear and sharp, the matte-black hood with its contoured scoop has been revitalized, and the front air dam, rear windshield louvres and rear spoilers all look great. Being an original California car has its advantages as rust has never been an issue and it still retains all its original steel. This Mustang's careful restoration has seen it reassembled with obvious care, as both the front and rear bumpers are table-level and blemish-free, the badging from front to back is crisp, and its doors and hood open and shut very smoothly and sit nice and flush, an obvious sign of good body alignment. Look a little lower down on the sides and you'll see that the rocker panels on both sides also meet up with the wheelhouses in back just where they should. As an added modern touch that takes nothing away from the authenticity of this Mach I's look, LEDs sit in place of the original bulbs in those signature twin 3-bar taillights.
The black vinyl interior has been brought back to life while still maintaining its stock configuration in the process. The high-backed bucket seats in front - a major stylistic departure from previous models - look great with their tuck and roll surfaces and red stripe detailing and are flanked by door panels sporting a deep black hue, with fresh wood grain inserts in their centers. In the matching dash area, an aftermarket tach mounted on the steering column sits just in front the factory gauges in the stock instrument cluster, with another pair residing at the front of the center console. Well-suited to be a frequent driver, this Pony also features air conditioning that's blowing cold and strong and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD player with iPod connectivity has been added to give you all the audio options you could want. The trunk area in back has been looked after, too, as it's lined with Ford plaid fabric, with a full-size spare sitting at the ready.
Producing right around 300 horsepower and equipped with a 4-barrel carb, the original 351 Windsor remains in the engine bay. Paired with an FMX Select Shift 3-speed automatic transmission, it's a smooth performer that starts right up and runs strong while emitting a nice deep tone out of its Magnaflow dual exhaust. Up front, an aluminum radiator sits paired with dual electric fans to keep temperatures in check in more challenging driving conditions. With new springs in both front and back, as well as a host of other new suspension parts, this Mustang has a smooth and confidence-inspiring ride that, along with its power steering and power brakes, reinforces the notion conveyed by its interior that this is one Pony you'll want to drive any time you get the chance. This iconic Ford classic sits on a set of 14" stock Mustang rims, outfitted with Cooper Cobra radials.
