Description:
1934 Ford Roadster
This is a 1933/1934 Ford roadster project It could be titled either way. The Id # is a 40- number. I have a 1934 hood so I'm leaning to 1934. It has a nice chassis [NOW MINUS] the 59AB engine and transmission with zepher gears. It has hydraulic brakes that need a little more work on the pedals and emergency front hand lever. It has a new rumble lid and covered rear seat. It has a original roadster front seat with a old recover on it. I have the rumble drip rails, and hinges. Not: The cowl in the first 3 pictures isn't the one on the car now. The later pictures are of the current cowl. The cowl is the one in the later pictures with coupe style metal jambs. The original wood and door jamb covers don't go with this car. It's a work in progress. The dash and door tops are aftermarket Not SAR. The floor and firewall are original with some parches . The 1/4 panels and panel above and below are aftermarket from SAR as is the cowl top. The rumble lid is also SAR reproduction steel and is a rumble lid not a trunk lid. You could use this one for either but it has the bolt holes for rumble hinges, I don't currently have hinges but aftermarket are cheap. I have the new rain gutters for the rumble lid opening, I'm going to mock up doors with metal jambs and re-skin them later on. The first cowl pictured doesn't go with this car. No title now but can get one in about 4 weeks. I have a rebuildable 1933/1934 ford motor and transmission available for extra cost.Call if you want to see it in person. Thanks, Scott 816-506-3789 I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. It is for sale locally. I'll post pictures of my doors work in progress and the new rumble seat cushions, new rumble lid and 1934 hood soon. Lots of work done. A good welder could do a lot in a few days. I'm slow at it. The drivers door is a cut down 1933 door that only needs the bottom back corner fixed and the top finished, A good sheet metal man would probably re make the door tiops. The righy door needs work all around. With a inner new bottom you may save it or a new door skin is around 1200.00 for the hole thing last time I could find someone to make one.
