1966 Ford Mustang Standard

This 1966 Mustang was a "Barn find" that looked like it was a extensive refurbishing project that I purchased to resell.From what I see the rear frame rails, full rear quarters, wheel wells, torque boxes, inner rocker panels, front inner and outer fenders, drivers door and the majority of the floors including the trunk floors were replaced.The pass doors looks original.I do not see any Rust issues in this car.This vehicle has most of all the GT options - Disc brakes, Fog lites (with tail lite that operate with switch), Dual exhaust system with rear trumpets existing through the rear valance and rear brake hose mounted for dualexhaust, GT glove box and instrument cluster, GT gas cap, and GT badges and MUSTANG letters with strip kit.Due to the factthat the rear frame rails were replaced - the inner brackets for the dual exhaust are not in the rear frame rails.The vehicle has a newer Mustang AM/FM radio, 2 speed wipers, Fog lights, Power top, and 4 way flashers.The following parts I know are new:Dual exhaust system, starter, water pump, radiator, tinted windshield, master cylinder, export brace, brake lines and shoes, door panels, carpet, most of the seals and fair amount of the exterior sheet metal.The engine currently in the vehicle is a 1987 302 roller cam engine with a early 4 barrel intake, 1.08 4100 carburetor, oil pan and distributor. The engine starts and runs well.The transmission is a wide ratio top loader Ford 4 speed with an original Ford shifter and a 8" rear end.The front brakes are 4 piston Kelsey-Hayes calipers with rear drum brakes and a late model dual master cylinder.The engine compartment has been detailed and painted.The tires are mounted on 1965 Style Steel Wheels and have good tread.The currents I see with the vehicles are:pinion seal has a small drip, the dash board has a crack on the passenger side and is warped by the windshield, the transmission is noisy and the shifter has the wrong shifter knob ( for a full size Ford).The top was replaced but the installer did not stretch out the vinyl very well.The paint is Base/Clear coat and needs to be detailed as well as the interior needs a good cleaning.On the good side it is a GT - A code car that has all the body work completed and painted and needs a little tender loving care.
