Description:

1982 Ford Bronco

Up for sale is my 1982 Ford Bronco. This is a full size Bronco with a 302 Engine (5.0 Liter), automatic transmission and is a 4 wheel drive. Bronco is in good condition overall with some wear, blemishes and its own little quirks here and there. I absolutely love this vehicle and if I was not desperate for cash in a hurry I would not be selling it. It has a pretty unique color combo which I believe is 100% original. I will describe each section of the vehicle below so please read carefully and look at all pictures. It is sold as described to the best of my knowledge... I would never purposely leave details out or try to trick someone into buying something they don't want so please ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer them. The vehicle has a clear and clean Oregon Title in my name.
Exterior Description: Brown and tan color combo is awesome! Body mostly straight with some dings, small dents and flaking paint here and there. Some rust as you can see in the scratches and in the tailgate. Overall in my opinion a very nice body but not perfect, just right for driving it up in the mountains and not having to worry about it but yet nice enough to get some looks when cruising around town.
Wheels and Tires: American racing rims in good shape with some minor wear and damage. Tires still have life but tread is getting low. See pictures.
Engine & Transmission: This Bronco has the 302 engine or 5.0 liter with an automatic transmission. Not sure how many miles are on it (odometer reads 99235). Engine is not clean and does leak some oil. No mechanical issues I am aware of and I do use this as my daily driver. I am sure its due for an oil change but nothing else pressing or preventing you from driving it home. Its a bit cold starting and my mechanic says it may eventually need a carburetor (he is not a fan of the Edelbrock) but it always starts. Automatic transmission seems to work great but shifts hard, but previous owner said they put a shift kit in it so I assume that is why it does that. 4 Wheel drive seems to work great and I have personally used that a few times to get out of being stuck.
Interior: The interior seats have a neat color combo also but it definitely shows wear, blemishes and some damages. As you can see driver's side seat is tore up but back seat looks real nice. Dash is also nice but the door panels and steering wheel are worn and have cracks and damages. There is trim missing around the removable top and pretty much every seal needs replaced. It doesn't leak really but if you wash it or it rains really hard some water does make it in through and around the window seals (not the windshield but other windows). The back is missing something along the walls, its just like a black cardboard type material (see pictures).
Extras & Quirks: The Bronco has a tow package which I use regularly and it tows nicely! There is a CD player and CB radio both of which can be a little temperamental. The vehicle has working heat (that only blows through the defrost vents) and the air conditioning is an aftermarket setup that runs from a toggle switch but blows out the vents with full force. There is a lot of road noise when driving it because of the seals needing replaced and various rattles. Back window works from the dash and from the key but regularly blows fuses from using the key (so I keep several extra fuses on hand in the Bronco). I mentioned already that it is cold starting... when first starting it up I just pump the gas a few times and it fires right up, but when its warm I have to hold the gas pedal down while turning the key but it always starts! It does have some sort of alarm on it but I have never had it working although the key fobs work to lock and unlock the doors but no actual alarm goes off. That is about all I can think of again if there is something else I remember I will add it to the description for it definitely is not my intention to make the vehicle seem better than it is.
Overall its a good vehicle that you can drive home (depending on how far of course... I would have it tuned up or checked out if taking it out of state for I haven't made any long, long drives in it). With a little work it can be a great restoration project or just an ultimate outdoor rig! I love the look of it and it definitely will be missed! Again ask questions if you have any! Thanks!
