Ford 4 door Bronco F250 Metropolitan by Magnum not Centurion

1991 Ford Bronco XLT Lariat

Up for auction is my F250 XLT Lariat single cab converted to a 4 door Bronco, a Metropolitan, by Magnum Corp. Ford could not make a four door SUV back in 1991 so you'd buy your truck and they'd ship it up to one of two conversion shops up the road, Magnum or Centurion. Between the two companies I have heard only about 5,000 of these were made. Magnum put out fewer total vehicles than Centurion and tended to use Ford parts more. This one started out as a single cab Ford 4WD F250. Per the Magnum brochure, the conversion cost was $10,535. Additional options included rear speakers, overhead console w/ CB and antenna, special paint, brake controller and wiring package, overhead rear A/C, extra gas tank (now over 50 gal), removable 3rd row seat, roof racks, rear window defogger and brought the price up close to $3,000 more.
I've owned this truck for almost 3 years and it has a strong and responsive 7.5L 460 V8, cold AC (DUAL, front and rear) and hot heat, with its automatic transmission and transfer case rebuilt in June 2016. It also has 4.10 gears, Goodyear air bags, electric brake and 26k transmission cooler if you plan on towing anything. It tows our 30' travel trailer with ease.
Power windows (up front) and rear window works (both from key switch and button on dash). Aftermarket CD/receiver and overhead DVD player both work, too. There are a few wireless headphones that come with it, too. I think only 3 of 4 work, however. The overhead console lights work as does the CB radio (removable antenna on roof). The dash cover keeps the otherwise clean dash free from the sun's rays.
All items work in this truck and theonly things I would consider wrong with it or not working as expected are 1)the driver seat where the fabric is coming off the piping and 2) something was in the way when the glove box was closed recently and it caused the plastic where the 'hoop' bracket is mounted (what the glove box door latch connects to) on the dash to crack and break off. So, right now the glove box stays open. I haven't figured out what exactly to do about this to correct it.

This thing runs great, has plenty of pickup and power and is pretty comfortable considering what it is. It still is the original paint, and look at the roof. You don't find them like this one. Any rust that I am aware of is limited to both sides of the roof and rain gutter (see 1 pic). There are a few paint and rock chips but that's to be expected.

I purchased it in April 2014 w/ 109k miles. It now has about 128k and is being driven occasionally, but I bought an Excursion to get something a little newer to tool around in. I do love the Bronco every time I drive it and will likely regret letting it go.
