1969 Ford F-100

A little bit of fun, a little bit of history, and plenty of V8 attitude... that's what you get in this 1969 Ford F-100 Ranger.
Trucks from this era are always a great part of nostalgia because they remind us of a hard day's work. So when you combine it with the blacked-out treatment, this Ford looks like it apprenticed with the grim reaper. There's a more modern respray on this one, but really it doesn't detract from the rugged attitude it puts forward. You still get the extra trim that comes on the upper-level Ranger models, and we love that's complete right down to the hood ornament. But the black chrome wheel really give this one a meaner attitude. And that's reinforced by the red streak across the grille and those side pipes peeking out from in front of the rear wheels. And while you might like this one on its attitude alone, it's still a workman pickup at its heart. That's why the bed is painted matte black and you have a trailer hitch so this vintage truck is still up to any task you can throw at it.
Just like a muscle car, we love the how the red interior looks against the dark exterior and best of all this presentation is factory-correct! The seats are a durable red vinyl with comfortable cloth inserts. This coordinates nicely with the newer door panels and carpeting to create a very fresh and uniform interior. The dash is black and coordinates nicely with the other deep dark elements of the interior. You slip behind the original-style red steering wheel and look out over Ford's original stylized gauge cluster. You're going to spot some nice upgrades like the auxiliary gauges and AM/FM/CD stereo, but don't think for a minute this pickup is out to coddle you. One twist of the key, and you can instantly hear a rumble that's perfect for this sinter-looking machine.
Under the hood is a 302 cubic-inch V8 that's nicely presented with bright valve covers and air topper. And we love how the bold blue block radiates from within the dark engine bay. A nice Holley performance four-barrel carburetor is there to help the V8 inhale deeply, and it exhales with authority out of a new 2.5-inch dual exhaust system with Thrush glasspack mufflers. And you get to enjoy the extra thunder this exhaust brings thanks to the control of the three-speed manual transmission. Add in the twin I-beam front suspension and modern grip of Kendra radials, and this is a mean-looking classic with some comfortable moves.
This truck came from Ford's #22 ordering district, which was Charlotte. And we always love selling a pickup out of its hoe district, even if it's nearly half a century later. So this is an interesting looking pickup with plenty of growl and a story to tell. And when a package is that distinct, and also affordable, you know it's going to be a hot commodity. Call now!
