Up for auction is a stock 1954 Ford Mainline four door sedan. This is a Texas car with a clear Texas title.
Drivetrain is a 239 cu. in. V-8 with a 3 speed manual transmission. Transmission does have overdrive but it is not working. Suspension is also all stock. The car runs and drives pretty well. Brakes are all new- wheel cylinders, hoses, brake lines and master cylinder. Fuel system is also all new- new tank, fuel line and fuel pump. This stuff is all new- not rebuilt. We also put in new spark plugs and plug wires.
Interior is basically stock- some new seat covers were just put on. Door panels are all there and in fair condition. It does not have a headliner. Headlights and tail lights work but not turn signals. Other gauges don't work.
The body is generally pretty solid. There is some rust through on the right rear dog leg, rockers and right front fenderbut overall a pretty solid car. Most of the glass does have some cracks or seepage around the edges.However the back glass is excellent. The tires are older wide white radials.
The chrome and trimappears toall be there. Front bumper isgood- grill has some light pitting but is straight- not all dented up. Rear bumper has some scratches but is also straight.
This is a cool old car that has some great patina. You could restore or customize it to whatever level you wanted.
