New Page 3This Mustang is something that you can hop in and enjoy now with out having to spend a small fortune or if you want to take it to the next level and look for a return, this is a great foundation to start from. This is a very original and solid car. In 2016 & early 2017, the Mustang had a lot of work done to it to make it roadworthy (please see receipts). New shocks, tune up, carb work, fluids flushed, new heater core, new radiator, and a lot more. Mechanically it runs and drives great. It steers and brakes well. The AC unit within the interior of the car works but it does not blow cold. The only thing I would recommend mechanically is having the carburetor slightly adjusted.
The body of the Mustang is completely original. There is nothing beyond surface rust on the bottom side of the car. No holes or soft spots within the floors, rockers, nor frame rails. The original vinyl top is still on the car and is a testament to how much time this Mustang spent indoors. It does need replaced but there are no soft spots underneath it. The only rust issues within the car is a small pencil size hole in the trunk, around the wheel lip of the quarters, and the bottom sides of both fenders.
The interior of the car is all new and is in great shape. Seats redone, new headliner, nice center console, steering wheel, dash pad, the majority of the interior is in great shape. The only negative spot is the silver trim around each of the doors panels, it is starting to fall, some minor pitting within the instrument panel, and the radio is lacking the knobs.
With the car we are including receipts for work completed within the last two years, the original owners manual, and documentation from the original purchase back in 1966. We do have a clear title.
