1965 Galaxie Convertible No Reserve

1965 Ford Galaxie

I purchased this in December 2016. I was planning on either using the body parts or the frame for restoring another 1965 Galaxie convertible with accident damage.
The other Galaxie is also listed on E-Bay. The blue Galaxie was rear ended. Beautiful interior, solid drivetrain, tires and wheels A-1. The plan was to try and straighten the frame on the powder blue Galaxie and use thebody parts from this one.If that wasn't possible I would use the frame from this one and the interior, drivetrain... from the other.
This one was delivered during a deep freeze in early December 2016. It was running when the driver picked it up in Michigan. When he started it at my warehouse to drive off the trailer, the engine rattled and seized. Not the end of the world since I didn't need the engine. I had the drivetrain pulled. It is sitting on a pallet. As soon as we pulled the drivetrain we found out the frame was in bad shape and had previous repair work. Seller did not disclose when I purchased.
The body is in very good shape. Fenders, quarters, floorboards... Surprising considering the frame but I had another 65 with the same problem a few years ago. I have run out of time and recently lost my storage so I am selling a few vehicles. This has many good parts although I have taken the speedometer cable, windshield wiper switch and emergency brake cable parts for a 66 7Litre I am wrapping up.
Tires and wheels are very good, carburetor and ignition system are excellent, glass is all intact,lots of great parts or buy this and my other to make one. All glass is good. Lots of great parts!!!!!
Iwill have the drivetrain re-installed for transport. Hood will be back on and all other parts will fit in trunk.
